All professional development will be designed around research-based instructional strategies. Topics may include:

• Tiered instructional support/intervention

Pricing starts at $5,000/day (all-inclusive cost pricing) or 

$1,000/90-minute virtual session

Coaching can lead to improved practice but requires a deep understanding of content, pedagogy, and adult learning theory. Facilitating pre-lesson and post-lesson discussions does not happen by accident; it takes intense planning. Providing non-evaluative feedback grounded in evidence requires intentional choices of the evidence being leveraged in a collaborative space. We offer in-person and virtual:

• Training of coaches
• Coaching of instructional leaders 
• Coaching of teachers

Embedded support empowers teachers and leaders to support high-level math instruction in the local context. This may include:

• collaborative teaching experiences in which multiple teachers plan, implement, and debrief a lesson, or 
• in-class coaching.

Math specialists/coaches and instructional leaders will be invited to observe the interactions and deepen their understanding of the look-fors in effective math classrooms. The foci of job-embedded work include:

• implementation of effective teaching practices, as well as
• teacher reflection on the impact of pedagogical choices.

On-going support is required to sustain change. By studying and providing feedback on practice, educators can gain insight into the implementation of effective teaching practice. Consultation with an educational institution may include:

• Designing tools and documents that serve the needs of the local context
• One-on-one personalized support for instructional leaders
• Teacher classroom transcript analysis
• Coach pre-/post-conference transcript analysis 
• Student work analysis
